un[convention]al - A playful look at social innovation
un[convention]al is an annual event that provides a platform for local change agents to showcase creative ideas, initiatives and inventions that are challenging conventional methods of effecting social change.
It aims to inspire 200 high school learners and adults by stimulating cross-cultural dialogue and providing an experience of innovation in action. The day includes experiential workshops, unconventional presentations, song, dance, deep dialogue and good fun!
This year the event took place on the 11th of October at the District 6 museum in Cape Town and we are proud to announce that un[convention]al is a project of World Design Capital 2014.
